Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars May Be Old--but It's Choice   November 17, 2008
P. Fairburn (Shediac River, New Brunswick Canada)
There is no doubt that Harrison Ford has seen better days. And poor Karen Black looks as if there isn't enough botox in the world to deal with the ravages of age. But in spite of this, the adventure remains and the stunts, while creaky, are meant to be and the intelligence and invention that lie beneath the derivative plot make for an enjoyable two hours. The young man, who turns out to be whom we suspect he is from the beginning, is not nearly as much fun as was Ed Byrnes[sic] but the comb schtick still works. The villains are villainous, them lousy Rooshians, and the period feels right. The ending is more '30's than '50's but what the heck, we enjoyed every darned minute of it and you will too. But thank goodness there can never be another one. The arthritic grimacing would be too much to bear.
